A graduate of UBC dentistry, Dr. Wessels earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2005 and has practiced dentistry in Vernon since then.

A strong belief in proactivity and the value of technically beautiful craft anchor Dr. Wessels’ approach.  Emphasis on authentic, healthy relationships with team and patients, a high-quality team culture, and excellent service round out the foundation of his philosophy.

Dr. Wessels’ motivation to provide modern, technically excellent dentistry drove him to pursue high-quality continuing education in restorative and implant treatment starting early in his career.  Through his current role as a mentor at the world-renowned Kois Center in Seattle, he is actively engaged in helping other dentists learn to provide research-based, predictably high-quality dentistry.

Dr. Wessels and his wife Robyn, an occupational therapist, have 3 young adult children (Abby, Noah, and Cody), with whom they enjoy adventuring outdoors, laughing, and travelling.  When he’s not at work (and often when he is), Dr. Wessels gets very excited about dry fly fishing, mountain biking, playing the pedal steel guitar, and eating Tex-Mex food!
